Katlin Gray

Program Coordinator

Katlin Gray is the program coordinator for the Do Good Institute. Prior to joining the Center, Katlin served two terms in the AmeriCorps Volunteers In Service to America (VISTA) program. Katlin served her first term with South Carolina Campus Compact within the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at Winthrop University. By leveraging partnerships between the university, school, and community, Katlin implemented and supported youth programming including a summer reading loss initiative, a daily after school program, and a school supply drive. During her second term, Katlin served with the Maryland-DC Campus Compact as a VISTA Leader to support a cohort of 18 AmeriCorps VISTA members based in higher education institutions who encourage and promote civic engagement and campus-community partnerships. 

During her time as a student at the University of Maryland, Katlin was deeply involved with Leadership & Community Service-Learning through the America Reads America Counts (ARAC) and the Alternative Breaks (AB) program. Through AB, Katlin co-lead a trip to the Chesapeake Bay for environmental rehabilitation and to Guatemala for community development. Katlin also served as a tour guide, student ambassador, UNIV teaching assistant, Writing Center tutor, and representative on several university and college committees.  

Katlin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature from the University of Maryland.
