| Emily is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. She graduated summa cum laude in May 2008 with a BA in government and politics from the University of Maryland, earning the designation of Dean's Academic Scholar and the University Honors Citation. She was a recipient of the Banneker/Key scholarship and a member of 2008 National Champion Mock Trial team. She spent summer 2007 at Oxford University and spring 2006 at the American University of Rome. She graduated in June 2004 from the science and technology program at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where she was a member of the lacrosse team and the Latin honor society. Max is a sophomore at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where he is majoring in English. He graduated in June 2007 from the science and technology program at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where he played on the varsity lacrosse team. In his spare time, he reviews rock music and plays guitar. Max was for four years a member of the Maryland Boy Choir (winner of the 1999 Grammy for best choral performance), and performed with Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer on Changing Channels (nominated for a Grammy) and All Wound Up; with DinoRock in the role of "Nelson" on Grammy-nominated Dreamosausus, and with Sue Trainor on Under Tables Out Back Doors.
