|
College Park Professor Ivo H. Daalder has been confirmed as the U.S. Ambassador to NATO. Swearing in will be on Friday, May 15. Daalder, a senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, served on President Clinton's National Security Council staff in 1995-96. He recently co-authored with I.M. Destler, a book on the National Security Council, In the Shadow of the Oval Office. He has also published (with James M. Lindsay) the award-winning America Unbound: The Bush Revolution in Foreign Policy, and Getting to Dayton: The Making of America's Bosnia Policy.
