“State Government Service Delivery: Budget and Financial Management Challenges”
Featuring Scott Pattison, Executive Director of the National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO) in Washington, D.C. He served for four years as Virginia’s state budget director and also headed the Regulatory and Economic Analysis section of the Virginia Department of Planning and Budget. He previously served in a variety of capacities in the office of the Virginia Attorney General, including as Counsel on finance issues. Pattison has served on numerous boards and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Richmond and is currently Vice Chair of the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM). Identified as an important “Player” in public policy by The Washington Post, Pattison is frequently interviewed by national news organizations including The New York Times and National Public Radio.
