Responsibilities: The School of Public Policy Dean's Office is seeking an individual to provide executive level support to the Dean, Executive Dean and Development Officer. The individual will act as an intermediary for the Dean, interacting with University and Government Officials, faculty, staff, students and the public. The individual is responsible for handling complex and routine tasks on behalf of the Dean and the School's Senior Staff; effectively communicate with senior staff, Center Directors and donors. Other duties include, but not limited to, are: compile and analyze school data, prepare reports for presentation, schedule meetings and prepare travel arrangements; coordinate event logistics and administer faculty searches and APT cases.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Five years of relevant experience preferably within academic setting or fast-pace work environment. Strong database and spreadsheet computer skills preferred. Must have a high level of organizational, communication and computer skills. Individual should be a self-starter, but function well in a team environment, handle confidential matters and establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of constituencies to include, but not limited to faculty, staff, students and visitors. The individual should accomplish responsibilities in a timely manner with minimum supervision and have the ability to multi-task.
Salary: $43K-$48K
