Nov 30 - Aries Keck, Earthbeat Radio How to Talk (About the Environment) with the Media [Draft.] Aries Keck will initially discuss the reporter perspective and the reasons you may get a call from a media person. She will go on to talk about questions that journalists are likely to ask and the features of good answers to them. In light of unusually complex environmental issues, Aries will offer some pointers about how to sort out and convey any key message(s) intended and any message(s) not to be misunderstood. She will touch on a number of ways to be proactive and media-friendly in seeking and following up with journalists. Aries also plans to share a few stories through soundclips, as mini case studies to stimulate thought and conversation.
